Tulsa King is back, and Dwight Manfredi is trying something he has never really tried before: going legitimate. Season 4 premiered on Paramount+ on October 16, 2026, and Sylvester Stallone’s exiled New York capo is fighting to legitimise his empire while corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and a crushing personal loss close in from every direction.
1. What season 4 is about
Following season 3’s violent showdown with liquor magnate Jeremiah Dunmire, Dwight faces a strained relationship with FBI agent Musso and an ongoing rivalry with Quiet Ray, played by James Russo, whose performance has drawn particular praise from early reviewers. Gretchen Mol joins the regular cast as Amanda Clark, a local politician who adds another player to Dwight’s increasingly complicated world. New episodes arrive every Friday, with the 10-episode season concluding on December 18.
2. The early verdict
FandomWire’s review of all 10 episodes scored the season 8 out of 10, calling it a criminally entertaining brass-knuckle comedy that has grown more serious, shedding old characters and bringing in new ones. Stallone himself has teased a surprise character as one of the most dangerous, unpredictable, psychopathic characters ever seen on the show.
3. Season 5 is already happening
Paramount+ has already renewed Tulsa King for a fifth season, and filming is under way in New York, where Dwight’s story began, rather than Atlanta, where most of the first four seasons were shot. Whether the story follows the cameras back to New York remains unconfirmed, but the General is not slowing down.
